Opportunity for a purchasing administrator to join one of the leading automotive converter companies in the UK. The business has been established for over 45 years, offering customers a comprehensive range of well-designed products and services to increase their vehicles' efficiency and potential. As the purchasing administrator, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day purchasing and administrative support to the purchasing department. Detailed responsibilities include: - Following up with suppliers in terms of key dates and delivery plans Updating the team regarding any delays or problems with suppliers Researching new products and suppliers Presenting cost analysis to the department Maintaining records of supplier contractsTo apply for the purchasing administrator position, you will need the following: - Previous experience as a purchasing administrator or commercial buyer Proven supplier management experience Proficient in Excel, including Sage and SAP Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes would be beneficial MCIPS or working towards would be highly beneficialIn return, the purchasing administrator will receive a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum + company pension + bonus scheme + 20 holidays (excluding the bank holidays).
