Expected Results and Achievements

  • Ensure plant team members follow proper company procedures, laws and regulations including safety and quality standards
  • Hold plant team members accountable to behaviors and expectations, escalating personnel issues to Plant or Area Manager to address
  • Complete required paperwork and reports as needed
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, environmental, employment, management, and other company policies, procedures, and principles established by government agencies and BURNCO Colorado LLC
  • Verify each load for yardage, mix, added products and all other quality information
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Receive and inspect raw materials
  • Keep required records and logs
  • Perform routine maintenance and oversee the cleaning of the concrete plant
  • Monitor inventories in the plant (cement, fly ash, admixtures and aggregates)
  • Adjusts batching weights and quantities as necessary to maintain specification
  • Complete Weekly Plant Inspection
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic computer skills, working knowledge of computer/batching system
  • Ability to build trust and communicate effectively
  • Must have quality as a core value and work well as a team player


Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred


Travel Requirement

  • Only as needed

Rate or Range:  $30.25 and up
