Job Purpose: To manage and develop the HR function for the Company ensuring that the administration of the overall HR operation and delivery of its strategic objectives are achieved. Management of the life cycle of all employees, designing Company policies ensuring that adherence to all current and future legislation and regulatory requirements are met. Setting objectives for the HR team, promote the Company values and assist in shaping our employer brand strategy while maintaining a customer focused environment. Principal Accountabilities: Set objectives for the HR team and track progress. Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes. Drive alignment between HR strategy, employee engagement and business goals. Supporting the CEO in influencing and aligning the employer brand and employee engagement. Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plan(s) to fit with the overall business direction. Advise directors and managers on the terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures, employee engagement and share best practice. Provide first line advice on HR and business knowledge to employees. Advise and mentor the management team to professionally manage employee relations, dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances and absence management. Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies. Support recruitment, talent management and succession planning. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and assess training needs to recommend training programs. Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the Company. Work with appropriate parties on developing appropriate benefits and reward strategies. Monitor, report and provide decision support on all relevant HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and costs, absence levels etc.). Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary ensuring that the HR activities remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage and deliver the HR budget contribution targets. Organise events and social activities Skills and Qualification Requirements CIPD Qualified, preferably FCIDP or MCIPD. Minimum of 2-5 years in an HR line management/HR BP role with experience leading projects. Exceptional organisational and communication skills are required together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application. Experience in developing and supporting a HR team. Experience in developing and supporting line managers through change. Previous experience in designing and implementing policies and procedures ,Strong commercial and business focus, to provide solutions which best fit the needs of a fast-paced business. Ability to architect HR strategy, Working knowledge of TUPE regulations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy. Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. Possession of a good working knowledge of IT encompassing, but not limited to Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. The post holder must be resourceful, have strong personal motivational skills, be a relationship builder with excellent communications skills; incorporating an involved approach with the determination to succeed and have the aptitude to react quickly to given situations. The capacity to interact at all levels with the willingness to be flexible is essential to success in this role. The post holder must have an approachable and open nature to ensure buy-in to the HR function is consistent across the Company. In general, the post holder should be of smart, presentable appearance and must feel comfortable working in a high pressure, ever-changing and customer driven environment. The post holder should be highly committed and be able to seek improvement continually.
