Howdens Joinery are looking for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader to join the Customer Service and Planning Team based at our purpose-built solid worksurface site in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor. Supporting our busy Customer Service Team and reporting to the Planning and Customer Service Supervisor, your role is to lead and develop the team, ensuring the highest level of service is provided to Howdens customers. Having a collaborative style of working, alongside highly effective communication skills you will develop improved people capability through leading, coaching and mentoring on a formal and informal basis. Role responsibilities: - Overseeing the day-to-day activities of all the customer service team functions including providing resolutions to our field-based teams - Providing customer service support to our customers - Work with other departments to ensure time driven resolutions are achieved - Work with the team to implement best practices in all processes and manage all queries as they arise in a timely manner - Analyse statistics or other data to determine the levels of service the department is providing and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) - Ensure the customer service team is well-directed with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities and provide full support in achieving these in terms of communication, training, and development. - Undertaking 1-2-1 and personal development conversations for all the customer service team functions.
